Post Wise Education Qualification

Special School Teacher

(Class 1 to 5)

  • (क) Minimum 50% marks in 10+2 Higher Secondary (or equivalent)
    and
    Valid CRR (Central Rehabilitation Register) number issued by the Rehabilitation Council of India with D.El.Ed. in Special Education from a recognized institution by the Rehabilitation Council of India.
    OR
    D.El.Ed./Diploma in Special Education from a recognized institution by the Rehabilitation Council of India, which is equivalent to D.El.Ed. in Special Education, along with a valid CRR (Central Rehabilitation Register) number issued by the Rehabilitation Council of India.

    (ख) Six months of specialized training in cross-disability field.

  • Must have passed the Special School Teacher Eligibility Test, 2023,  as follows: BSSTET Paper I Exam Qualified.
  • Must be a citizen of India.

Special School Teacher (Class 6 to 8)

(क) Graduation degree from a recognized university with a minimum of 50% marks
and
Valid CRR (Central Rehabilitation Register) number issued by the Rehabilitation Council of India with B.Ed. in Special Education from a recognized institution by the Rehabilitation Council of India.
OR
Certificate/Diploma in Special Education with B.Ed., which is equivalent to B.Ed. in Special Education from a recognized institution by the Rehabilitation Council of India, along with a valid CRR (Central Rehabilitation Register) number issued by the Rehabilitation Council of India.

(ख) Six months of specialized training in cross-disability field.
