BSSC Sports Trainer 2025: Eligibility Criteria

• Educational Qualification: Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree from a recognized university.

• Technical Qualification: Candidates must have a Diploma in Sports Coaching from the Netaji Subhas National Institute of Sports (Sports Authority of India), a Postgraduate Diploma in Sports Coaching (PGDSC) from the Lakshmibai National Institute of Physical Education, Gwalior, or a similar qualification from a recognized university or from the Central Sports University recognized by the University Grants Commission, or a similar qualification from Bihar University.

Sports Achievements

A candidate must have represented the country in a recognized international or national competition, or participated in an international or national championship. This includes participation in:

• Olympic Games

• All-India Inter-University / Recognized Junior Championship

• A candidate should have participated at least twice in the Inter-University/Recognized Junior Championship/National Championship, and at least three times in the Inter-Services, All-India Police, or All-India Railway competitions.

• National Championship

• Inter-Services / All-India Police Games / All-India Railway Championship

BSSC Sports Trainer 2025: Exam Pattern

• Exam Type: Objective/Multiple-choice questions.

• Total Questions/Marks: 150 Questions / 150 Marks.

• Duration: 2 hours.

• Marking: 1 mark for each correct answer.

• Language: Hindi/English; the English version is final in case of discrepancy.

• Tie-Breaker (Priority 1): Older age (Date of Birth).

• Tie-Breaker (Priority 2): Alphabetical order (A to Z) of the candidate's name.

• Preliminary Exam: Will be held if applications exceed 40,000.

• Main Exam Selection Ratio (after Preliminary): 5 times the total vacancies.
