Eligibility Criteria

• Food Safety Officer (FSO: - 

• Educational Qualification: Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate Degree from a recognized University in Related Subject / Stream:

• Core Streams: Food Technology, Dairy Technology, Biotechnology, Oil Technology, Agricultural Science, Veterinary Sciences, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Chemistry, or Medicine.

• Food Technology Disciplines: Food Engineering, Food Processing & Preservation, Food Technology & Management, Food Safety & Quality Management, or Related Subject.

• Agricultural Science Disciplines: Agriculture, Agricultural Engineering, Dairy Technology, Fisheries, Food Nutrition & Dietetics, Horticulture, or Related Subject.

• Medical Degrees: MBBS, BDS, BHMS, BUMS, BSMS, BAMS, or Sowa-Rigpa Medicine & Surgery.

• Other Qualifications: Any other equivalent qualification notified by FSSAI with prior approval of the Central Government.

• Scientific Assistant:- 

• Educational Qualification: B.Sc. in Related Subject (Chemistry) OR B.Pharm (Bachelor of Pharmacy) from a recognized University.

• Mandatory Work Experience: 1 Year of experience in drug testing and analysis.

• Experience Note: The 1-year drug testing and analysis work experience is mandatory for candidates holding either qualification (B.Sc. Chemistry or B.Pharm).

BTSC Scientific Assistant Recruitment 2026: Document Required / Inportant Instruction

• Matriculation Certificate: Original Class 10th Certificate for age verification.

• Educational Qualification: Mark sheet & Original / Provisional Degree Certificate of B.Sc. (Chemistry) or B.Pharm from a recognized University.

• Mandatory Work Experience Certificate: Experience Certificate in Drug Testing and Analysis (mandatory for all candidates).

• Category / Reservation Certificate: Caste Certificate, Non-Creamy Layer (NCL) Certificate, or EWS Certificate (as applicable).
