Eligibility Criteria
- Must be a permanent resident of Bihar state.
- The caste of the applicant should be under backward class (BC) or extremely backward class (EBC) and Scheduled Castes (SC) / Scheduled Tribes (ST).

Backward class (BC) / extremely backward class (EBC) and Scheduled Castes (SC) / Scheduled Tribes (ST). students whose annual income of parent/ guardian including own income does not exceed Rs.3,00,000/- only, will be eligible for scholarship under this scheme. The applicant should be studying in post-admission courses in government institutions / recognized non-government institutions located within the state.
