Age Limit

• Candidates born between 01 January 2005 and 01 July 2009 (both days inclusive) are eligible to Apply.

Eligibility Criteria

• Passed Matriculation / 10th or equivalent with minimum pass marks from any Govt. recognized School / Board.
• Music Ability : (i) Candidates must have proficiency in music with accuracy in tempo, pitch and singing one complete song. They should be able to perform one preparatory tune and any of the notations i.e. Staff notation/ Tablature/ Tonic Solfa/ Hindustani/ Carnatic etc. Candidates must be able to tune individual instruments (in case of instruments require tuning) and match unknown notes on vocal or instruments.        (ii) Candidates must have proficiency in playing any one instrument
• Musical Experience Certificate: (i) Grade 5th or equivalent or above in one instrument from a recognized music institute such as TCL or RSM, KM Music Conservatory, Bangalore School of Music, TSM, GMI, Berklee School of Music etc.
  OR
  (ii) Diploma or equivalent in the field of music for candidates performing Hindustani or Carnatic Classical Music from any recognized University.
  OR
  (iii) Certificate of participation/ awards presented at various events. For such candidates’ performance/ playing of blowing instruments with staff notation as mentioned in Educational QRs.

Agniveer Vayu Musician 01/2027 :- Mandatory Medical Standards

• Height:-
• For Male candidates: Minimum acceptable height is 162 cms.
• For Female candidates: Minimum acceptable height is 152 cms. For candidates belonging to North East or hilly regions of Uttarakhand, a lower minimum height of 147 cms will be accepted. In case of candidates from Lakshadweep, the minimum height will be 150 cms
• Weight: Weight should be proportionate to height and age as applicable for IAF.
• Chest:-
• (i) For Male Candidates: The chest wall should be well proportioned and well developed. Minimum chest circumference should be 77 cms and the chest expansion should be at least 05 cms
• (ii) For Female candidates: The chest wall should be well proportioned and well developed with the minimum range of expansion of 05 cms.
• Hearing: Candidate should have normal hearing i.e. able to hear forced whisper from a distance of 6 meters by each ear separately.
• Dental: Should have healthy gums, good set of teeth and minimum 14 dental points.
• Visual Standards: 6/12 each eye, correctable to 6/6 each eye; Maximum limits of Refractive Error:- Hypermetropia: +2.0D,  Myopia: 1D, Including ± 0.50 D Astigmatism & Colour Vision: CP-II

• Physical Fitness Test (PFT). PFT consists of a 1.6 Km run to be completed within 7 minutes (For Male Candidates) and 1.6 KM run to be completed within 8 minutes  (For Female Candidates)
• Candidates will have to complete 10 push-ups, 10 sit-ups and 20 squats Form (Male) &  10 sit-ups and 15 squats (Female).

• Visual Standards:- 

• Visual Acuity: Must be 6/12 in each eye, correctable to 6/6 in each eye.

• Refractive Error Limits:

  • Hypermetropia: Maximum +2.0D

  • Myopia: Maximum -1D

  • Astigmatism: Includes up to ± 0.50 D

• Colour Vision: Must meet the CP-II standard.

• Important Notes & Requirements

1. Prescription & Spectacles: Candidates using corrected vision must bring their latest eye prescription (not older than one month) and their spectacles.
2. Prescription Details: The prescription must include the diopter measurement, name, signature, stamp, and registration number of the Ophthalmologist. The date must be within one month prior to the medical examination.
3. Surgical Disqualification: Candidates with a history of LASIK or PRK surgery will not be accepted.

Monthly Package Details

• Exit After 4 Year as Agniveer in Indian Airforce - Rs 11.71 Lakh as Seva Nidhi Package + Skill Gained Certificate.
• Up to 25% will be enrolled in the regular cadre of the Indian Airforce.

• Duration of Jobs: 04 Years
• AGNIVEER Skill Certificate:- At the end of engagement period, a detailed Skill-Set certificate will be provided to the AGNIVEER VAYU,highlighting the skills and level of competency acquired by the personnel during their engagement period.
• Insurance:- Death and Disability Compensation. AGNIVEER VAYU will be provided non-contributory life Insurance cover of Rs 48 lakhs for the duration of their engagement period as AGNIVEER VAYU in the Indian Air Force. • Training: On being enrolled, AGNIVEER VAYU will be imparted military training based on Indian Air Force requirement.
• Leave : Annual : 30 Days, Sick Leave. Based on Medical Advice.
• The candidates who become Agniveer will get 10% reservation in recruitment in Assam Rifles, CAPF.
• Uttar Pradesh / Madhya Pradesh and other states will also give preference to Agniveer in police department recruitment.
• Personnel enrolled under this Scheme will not be eligible for Ex-Servicemen status.

Mode of Selection

• Mode of Selection:- Selection on the Basis of Proficiency Test in Playing Musical Instruments, English Written Test, Physical Fitness Test (PFT), Adaptability Test-II & Medical Examination.

2. Click on the “Agniveervayu (Musician) Intake 01/2027 Admit Card” link.
3. Log in with your Registration Number / Email ID and Password / Date of Birth.
4. Download the Admit Card from the candidate dashboard.
5. Print and carry the Admit Card to the recruitment rally venue with a valid photo ID.
