For the posts of Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP), District Commandant, Jail Superintendent, and Probation Officer, the following medical and physical eligibility standards are required:

Physical Standards (Height & Chest)

Candidates must meet the following minimum physical measurements based on their category:

Medical Fitness Criteria

Candidates must be in good health and free from the following conditions to be eligible for appointment:

• General Health: No diseases of the bones or joints, no physical disabilities, and no history of mental illness or seizures.

• Vision & Hearing: Male candidates must have 6/6 vision in each eye (with or without glasses). Candidates must not have color blindness or night blindness. Hearing ability must be normal.

• Internal & Skin Health: Normal blood pressure and no functional or organic heart/blood vessel diseases. Candidates must be free from HIV, Hydrocele, Varicocele, or Piles. Routine ECG and EEG must be within normal limits.

• Other Conditions: Candidates must not have a "Claw Hand". Any skin disease likely to cause disability or disfigurement will result in disqualification

Pay Scale & Mode of Selection

• Pay Scale: Rs.9300-34800 (Grade Pay 5400 & 4800)
• Mode of Selection: Selection on the Basis of Pre Exam, Mains Exam & Interview.

2. Complete One Time Registration (OTR) or log in with your existing credentials (Registration ID and Password).
3. Click on the “Online Application” link and select the “Jharkhand Combined Civil Services Examination-2025 Advt. No. 01/2026” option.
4. Fill in the application form with accurate personal, educational, and other required details.
5. Upload scanned copies of your recent passport-size photograph and signature in the prescribed format and size.
6. Pay the application fee online (if applicable) and submit the form. Download and print the filled application form for future reference.
