📝 Exam Pattern / Syllabus
Exam Pattern:
- Exam Type: The examination is conducted by the commission using an OMR (Optical Mark Recognition) or CBT (Computer-Based Test) format. If the exam is held in multiple groups or shifts, the scores will be normalized.
- The exam will be a single main paper.
- All questions will be objective type with multiple-choice answers.
- Each correct answer will be awarded one mark.
- There will be no negative marking.
- The exam will be conducted in both Hindi and English.
- Duration and Questions: The main exam will be one hour (60 minutes) and will consist of a total of 50 questions.
Minimum Qualifying Marks
- Unreserved/EWS: 40%
- SC/ST and Women: 32%
- Extremely Backward Class (Annexure-1): 34%
- Backward Class (Annexure-2): 36.5%
- Primitive Tribe: 30%
- The minimum qualifying marks will be relaxed for contract workers who have completed at least five years of service.
Merit List Calculation
- The final merit list will be prepared based on a total score of 150 marks, derived from the following components:
- Written Exam (A.N.M.): 50 marks (maximum)
- Technical Qualification (A.N.M.): 10 marks (maximum), awarded based on grades
- Academic Qualification: 40 marks (maximum), awarded based on grades from matriculation (20 marks max) and intermediate (20 marks max)
- Work Experience: 50 marks (maximum), for contract workers in Jharkhand government hospitals, at a rate of 5 marks per complete year of service (up to a maximum of five years)
- If candidates have the same score, their ranking will be determined first by age (older candidates are ranked higher) and then by the spelling of their name in English as submitted in the application form.
