Educational Qualification

• For OBC (Other Backward Class) and General Category: Passed Class 10th examination under the 10+2 system, Higher Secondary, or equivalent examination from a recognized Board / Institution.

• For Scheduled Tribe (ST) Category: Must have passed the 8th class examination or equivalent.

i. Constable (GD) – General Duty – Special Armed Force – 700 Posts (Only for Male Candidates)

ii. Constable (GD) – General Duty – Excluding Special Armed Force – 6800 Posts

Note: Special Armed Force posts (700) are only for male candidates. Female reservation (35%) applies only in the 6800 posts excluding Special Armed Force. Horizontal reservations (Ex-Servicemen 10%, Home Guard 15%, Female 35%) are included within the respective category totals as per official notification.

MPESB MP Police Constable 2026: Pay Scale & Mode of Selection

• Pay Scale: ₹19,500 to ₹62,000 per month. The initial basic pay is ₹19,500. Additionally, constables receive various allowances, including Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), and other benefits, which can bring the gross monthly salary to a range of ₹26,000 to ₹30,000.
• Selection Process:  Selection on the Basis of Written, PET, PST, DV & Medical Exam.
