Eligibility Criteria NEET-PG 2026

• Possess MBBS degree or Provisional MBBS Pass Certificate recognized as per the provisions of the NMC Act, 2019 and the Post Graduate Medical Education Regulations, 2023,  and

• Possess Permanent or Provisional registration certificate of MBBS qualification issued by the National Medical Commission (NMC) / the erstwhile Medical Council of India (MCI) or State Medical Council,  and have completed one year of internship or are likely to complete the internship on or before 30-09-2026.

• Candidates found to be ineligible at any stage of NEET-PG 2026 will not be permitted to appear in the examination and / or counseling. In an unlikely event of any ineligible candidate appearing and / or being successful in the NEET-PG 2026, the results / candidature of such candidate shall be cancelled and / or are deemed to be cancelled.

• Requests for appearing in NEET-PG 2026 from candidates completing internship after 30-09-2026 or having qualifications that are not recognized as per the NMC Act, 2019 and the repealed IMC Act, 1956 shall be summarily rejected. Candidates are further advised not to canvass for the same.

Image Upload Instructions

Passport Size Photo: 

1. Photograph is in colour with white background.
2. Your face is clearly visible.
3. The size of image should be less than 80kb. Size of the image can be checked by right click on the image and then go to “Properties” link. (Maintain aspectratio, i.e. height and width ratio to avoid distortion of image)
4. Image is in .jpg/.jpeg format.
5. Image is not blurred in the process of editing.
6. Digital enhancement or other alterations or retouching are not permitted.
7. Make sure your face takes up at least 70-80% of the frame.

Scanned Signature

1. The candidate should provide his/her complete signatures and not just initials.
2. The signatures should be done by the candidates only as it may be checked any time frequently.
3. Signature done on the blank white page without lines only will be accepted
4. Take the white sheet and mark the box size of 3.5 x 1.5 cm (width x height)
5. Sign inside the box with blue/black pen.
6. If the Candidate’s signature on the answer script, at the time of the examination, does not match the signature on the Attendance Sheet, the candidate will be disqualified.
7. Set the scanner to 200 dpi
8. The scanned image should be saved in .jpeg/.jpg format.
9. Crop only box area and not the complete white page.
10. The size of image should be less than 80kb

Left Thumb Impression:

1. Set the scanner to 200 dpi.
2. Save the scanned image of thumb-print as .jpg/.jpeg format.
3. Crop only box area.
4. The size of image should be less than 80kb. Size of the image can be checked by right click on the image and then go to “Properties” link.

📋 How to Apply NBE NEET PG 2026 Online Form

1. Visit the official website nbe.edu.in or natboard.edu.in.
2. Click on the “NEET PG 2026” or “New Registration” link.
3. Complete the registration by entering your name, date of birth, email ID, mobile number, and other details.
4. Login with your User ID and Password to fill the online application form.
5. Enter personal details, educational qualifications, internship details, and select preferred exam cities.
6. Upload scanned documents (photo, signature, thumb impression, MBBS certificates, etc.) as per specifications.
7. Pay the application fee online (₹3500 for General/OBC, ₹2500 for SC/ST/PwD).
8. Submit the form and download/print the confirmation page for future reference.
