SCI Court Master 2025: Education Qualification

Post Name

• 1) A Degree in Law of a recognized University in India.
  2) Proficiency in Shorthand (English) with a speed of 120 w.p.m.
  3) Knowledge of Computer Operation with a typing speed of 40 w.p.m.
• Experience:- Minimum 5 years’ regular service in the cadre of Private Secretary/Senior PA/PA/ Senior Stenographer in Government/Public Sector Undertakings/Statutory bodies.

📝 Scheme of Examination for SCI Court Master 2025

The examination process includes the following stages:

Shorthand (English) Test:

• Speed: 120 words per minute for 7 minutes.
• Transcription Time: 45 minutes.
• Maximum Permissible Mistakes: 5% of the total words dictated.
• Method of Gradation: Without mistake: 100%, Upto 1% mistake: 90%, Upto 2% mistakes: 80%, Upto 3% mistakes: 70%, Upto 4% mistakes: 60%, Upto 5% mistakes: 50%.
• Maximum Marks: 100
• Minimum Qualifying Marks: 50

Objective Type Written Test:

• Question Paper: Multiple choice questions.
• Total Questions: 100
• Sections: General English (25), General Knowledge (25), Provisions relating to the Judiciary in the Constitution of India (25), Supreme Court Rules, 2013 (15), Knowledge of Computer operation (10).
• Maximum Marks: 100
• Minimum Qualifying Marks: 50 (General), 45 (Reserved)
• Duration: 2 hours

Typing Speed Test on Computer:

• Minimum Speed: 40 words per minute.
• Mistakes Allowed: General Category: 2% (8 words), Reserved Category: 3% (12 words).
• Duration: 10 minutes
• Maximum Marks: 20
• Minimum Qualifying Marks: 10 (General), 5 (Reserved)

Interview:

• Maximum Marks: 30
• Minimum Qualifying Marks: 15 (General), 13 (Reserved)

Weightage for Law Degree: 03 marks will be awarded for a Law degree (BGL/LLB) from a recognized university.

• Pay Scale: Pay Scale: Rs. 67,700/- Level-11
• Selection Process: S Selection on the Basis of Shorthand (English) Test, Written Test (Objective), Typing Speed Test on Computer & Interview.
