Minimum qualifying marks in Paper-I and Paper-II are as follows:-
(i) UR : 30%
(ii) OBC/EWS : 25%
(iii) All other categories : 20%

Pay Scale & Mode of Selection

• Pay Scale: Level-6 (Rs. 35400-112400/-) of the Pay Matrix of the 7th Central Pay Commission.
• Selection Process: Selection on the Basis of Tier-I, II, Document Verification & Merit List.

2. Complete One-Time Registration (OTR) if not already done. Old OTR from ssc.nic.in is not valid.
3. Log in and click the “Junior Engineer Examination, 2026” apply link.
4. Fill personal, educational, post preference and exam centre details.
5. Capture live photograph and upload signature as per SSC format (or use Aadhaar authentication).
6. Pay the application fee online (if applicable) and submit the form.
7. Download and print the confirmation page for future use.
