Educational Qualification/ Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualifications (शैक्षणिक अर्हता)

• Bachelor Degree in Any Stream from Any Recognized University in India

Important points:

• At the time of application, candidates must possess the required educational qualifications, including the mark sheet or certificate.

• Candidates who are "appearing" for their final exams are not eligible.

Preferential Qualifications (अधिमानी अर्हताएं)

These qualifications do not add any extra marks. Instead, they are used as a tie-breaker if two or more candidates have the same score, giving one candidate a higher rank.

The preferential qualifications are:

• A "O" Level certificate in computers from DOEACC/NIELIT.

• A minimum of two years of service in the Territorial Army.

• A "B" certificate from the National Cadet Corps (NCC).

Note: If a candidate has more than one preferential qualification, they will only receive the benefit for one.

Note:

• The total duration of the written exam will be 2 hours (120 minutes).
• The exam will be an objective-type Written Exam.
• Candidates must score at least 35% in each subject (section) and 50% in total to be eligible for the recruitment.
• Except for the General Hindi section, all questions will be in both Hindi and English.
• There is no negative marking in the written exam.

Uttar Pradesh UP SI 2025 Syllabus

General Hindi (सामान्य हिंदी):

• 1. हिंदी भाषा का सामान्य ज्ञान
• 2. वर्तनी, संज्ञा, सर्वनाम, क्रिया, विशेषण, लिंग, वचन, कारक, तत्सम, तद्भव, समास, पर्यायवाची, विलोम, वाक्य रचनाएँ, आदि।
• 3. हिंदी साहित्य के प्रमुख लेखक, कवि और उनकी रचनाएँ।
• 4. अपठित गद्य एवं पद्यांश।
• 5. पत्र लेखन, निबंध लेखन।

Basic Law / Constitution / General Knowledge (मूलभूत विधि / संविधान / सामान्य ज्ञान):

• 1. भारतीय दंड संहिता (IPC) और भारतीय संविधान की प्रमुख धाराएँ।
• 2. भारतीय गणराज्य की संरचना, संसद, न्यायपालिका, और कार्यपालिका।
• 3. भारतीय स्वतंत्रता संग्राम और उसके प्रमुख नेता।
• 4. भारत के प्रमुख संविधानिक अंग।
• 5. सामान्य ज्ञान के प्रमुख मुद्दे जैसे कि भारतीय भूगोल, राष्ट्रीय और अंतर्राष्ट्रीय घटनाएँ, विज्ञान, तकनीकी, खेल, संस्कृति, और पर्यावरण।

Numerical & Mental Ability Test (संख्यात्मक एवं मानसिक क्षमता परीक्षा):

• 1. संख्यात्मक प्रणाली, सरलीकरण, दशमलव और भिन्न, उच्चतम और निम्नतम सामान्य गुणांक (HCF & LCM), अनुपात और समानुपात, प्रतिशत, लाभ और हानि, छूट, समय और कार्य, औसत, समय और दूरी, आदि।
• 2. गणना की बुनियादी जानकारी और विश्लेषणात्मक कौशल।
• 3. सांख्यिकी, आरेख और चार्ट का उपयोग।

Mental Aptitude Test / IQ Test / Reasoning Test (मानसिक अभिरुचि परीक्षा / आई. क्यू. परीक्षा / तर्क शक्ति परीक्षा):

• 1. तर्क शक्ति परीक्षण, विज़ुअल और मस्तिष्कीय परीक्षण।
• 2. दिशा परीक्षण, असमानता पहचानना, सीरीज़ पूर्ति, विभिन्न प्रकार की पहेलियाँ।
• 3. लोजिकल और अंकगणितीय श्रृंखलाएँ।
• 4. सूचना निष्कर्षण और अन्य संबंधित बौद्धिक परीक्षण।

• Pay Scale: Pay Level Rs.9300-34800 Grade Pay Rs.4200 (Level-6)
• Selection Process: Selection on the Basis of Written Exam, PET & PST, DV, Medical & Final Merit List.
