  • Educational Degree: Bachelor's Degree in any discipline from a recognized University in India or its equivalent qualification recognized by the Government.

  • Teacher Training Qualification: Must possess any of the following recognized teacher training qualifications:

    • Basic Teacher Certificate (BTC) / Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.).

    • 2-Year BTC (Urdu) or Special BTC.

    • 2-Year Diploma in Special Education approved by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI).

    • 4-Year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.).

    • 2-Year Diploma in Elementary Education in accordance with the NCTE Regulations, 2002.

  • Teacher Eligibility Test: Must have passed the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) for Primary Level (Classes 1 to 5) conducted by the State Government (UPTET) or Central Government (CTET).

  • Selection Scheme:

    • Selection for Assistant Teacher (Urban) and Assistant Teacher Attached Primary (Aided Non-Govt. School) posts will be based on a merit list prepared from a 360-Mark Written Examination.

  • Written Exam Highlights:

    • Exam Mode / Question Type: Objective-Type Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) with 4 options each.

    • Total Questions: 120 Questions.

    • Total Marks: 360 Marks.

    • Exam Duration: 2 Hours (120 Minutes).

    • Marking Scheme: +3 Marks for each correct answer.

    • Negative Marking: 1 Mark deducted for every wrong or multiple-choice answer.

    • Medium of Exam: Bilingual (English & Hindi).

    • OMR Marking: Candidates must darken the correct circle on the OMR sheet using a black ballpoint pen.

  • Tie-Breaking Rules (In Case of Equal Merit):

    • First Preference: Higher Graduation Percentage.

    • Second Preference: Higher Teacher Training Qualification Percentage.

    • Third Preference: Older candidate in age.

  • Result Declaration:

    • The written exam cut-off marks and individual candidate scores will be displayed on the official website after the completion of the recruitment process.
